Probiotics
The human body is made up of billions of cells. We also carry around ten times more bacterial cells in and on our bodies. Scientific studies have shown that there are already approximately 100 billion bacteria living in our gut, the composition of which is as unique to each individual as their fingerprint. All of them are intimately connected to human tissue and are crucial to our health.
A new generation of probiotics specific for individual health conditions
Thanks to molecular genetic sequencing, which has been possible since the beginning of the 21st century, research has been able to gain insights into the types of human bacteria that play a role in many indications. On the basis of this sequencing, specially adapted multi-species probiotics have been developed, which already play an important role in modern probiotic medicine and have been used successfully in Austria for thirty years.
