What is META-CARE® Selenium?

Nutrient complex of selenium and barley grass powder rich in vital substances Selenium is an indispensable component of numerous enzymes and proteins that cannot fulfil their tasks in the body without the trace element. One of the most important functions of selenium is to support the body's own cellular defences. With a vegetarian or vegan diet, during times of physical stress and old age, there may be an increased need for selenium that cannot be adequately covered by the daily diet. In such cases, the additional intake of selenium as a food supplement can be useful. META-CARE® Selenium contains sodium selenate, which can be absorbed particularly quickly by the body. Selenomethionine is available to the body with a time delay. The formula is ideally complemented with high-quality barley grass powder.
