Trace elements & vitamins – the nutritional basis for thyroid function OMNi-BiOTiC® ViTAL Thyro Formula contains the trace elements iodine and selenium, which are essential for the production of the thyroid hormone thyroxine (T4) and its conversion into its active form, triiodothyronine (T3). *Iodine and selenium contribute to normal thyroid function. Iodine also contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism. Selenium, zinc and vitamin B2 (riboflavin) contribute to the protection of cells – including thyroid cells – from oxidative stress. Zinc, selenium and vitamin D3 support the normal function of the immune system. This is also highly important for the thyroid. Adequate immune defences and an intact intestinal barrier help prevent unwanted substances from entering the body and adversely affecting the thyroid.

Schisandra, Bacopa monnieri & Co – antioxidant and adaptogenic plant matrix Schisandra and Bacopa monnieri are valued for their adaptogenic properties – meaning they support the body's ability to adapt to stressful situations. Rosemary and pomegranate extracts act as plant-based antioxidants and help protect cells from free radicals. In this way, the plant compounds contained in the formula help reduce stress at both cellular and physical levels.

Lactobacillus plantarum L-137 – immunomodulatory postbiotic bacterial strain The postbiotic strain Lactobacillus plantarum L-137 is one of the best-studied postbiotic bacterial strains and is not only very well tolerated but has also been shown to have an effect on the body's natural defences and the intestinal barrier. It therefore ideally complements the formulation containing iodine and selenium when it comes to reducing factors that may adversely affect the thyroid.

Use

How should OMNi-BiOTiC® ViTAL Thyro Formula be taken?

Take 1 capsule twice daily, in the morning and evening, before a meal with sufficient liquid. Swallow the capsule whole.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

No animal protein, gluten, yeast or lactose has been added to the product, and it is suitable for people with a milk allergy. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Maintain a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of young children. We recommend avoiding the consumption of other food supplements containing zinc. The product is not suitable for pregnant women, children under 12 years of age or people with an overactive thyroid.

Who was OMNi-BiOTiC® ViTAL Thyro Formula developed for?

With a volume of just 18 to 25 ml, the thyroid gland is only about the size of a walnut, yet its effects are enormous. With the help of the trace elements iodine and selenium, it produces vital hormones that regulate key processes in the body – including metabolism, energy balance, weight regulation, body temperature, cardiovascular function, growth and brain development. It is therefore no surprise that thyroid disorders can affect many organs and bodily functions. The gut is also affected: thyroid hormones regulate its movement, blood flow and permeability.
