Who is the perimenopause/menopause bundle suitable for?
OMNi-BiOTiC® Active
Healthy food, a varied diet, drinking enough fluids and daily exercise are of course crucial to achieving this, but scientific research has also clearly shown us that the availability of important vitamins and trace elements (and therefore vitality and energy) depends considerably upon whether we have a sufficient amount and variety of intestinal bacteria residing in our body. A change in metabolism, unhealthy nutrition, an unvaried diet and heavy medications are responsible for the number of highly important bifidobacteria and lactobacilli dwindling over the course of our lives, and for the population of harmful bacteria increasing instead.
OMNi-LOGiC® PLUS
An imbalance of specific intestinal bacteria can lead to a disturbed function of the important intestinal barrier, which is often also accompanied by a so-called "silent inflammation". The bacteria Akkermansia muciniphila and Faecalibacterium prausnitzii play an important role in a normally functioning intestinal barrier: Akkermansia muciniphila is responsible for the production of highly viscous mucus and contributes with this mucus layer to strengthening the intestinal barrier so that foreign germs, but also harmful substances, cannot overcome the intestinal mucosa and enter the bloodstream. Faecalibakterium prausnitzii on the other hand, is able to produce special fatty acids, including butyric acid (= butyrate). This primarily supplies the intestinal mucosa with energy and thus strengthens the "tight junctions". These are the connecting points (membrane proteins) between the cells of the intestinal mucosa that ensure that important nutrients are selected and separated from harmful substances.
Akkermansia muciniphila and Faecalibakterium prausnitzii are anaerobic, however, which means they cannot tolerate oxygen and therefore cannot simply be ingested. With the targeted intake of certain dietary fibres, however, one creates an environment for these bacteria in one's own intestine that is conducive to life and reproduction.
META-CARE® Gut Balance
A healthy diet with selected micronutrients can promote the function of the intestines, mucous membranes and immune system and therefore the colonisation of intestinal bacteria.
META-CARE® Gut Balance is a combined preparation of vitamins, minerals and trace elements, which, in addition to a health diet, support the body's processes.
