Who is OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD suitable for?
Antibiotics are true "wonder weapons" for diseases caused by harmful bacteria. However, many people are not aware that the intestines are severely affected by these drugs: Antibiotic therapy not only attacks the harmful bacteria, but also radically decimates our "good" intestinal inhabitants. The result: a veritable "clear-cut" in the intestine! This allows harmful and dangerous germs (such as Clostridium difficile) and their toxins to multiply rapidly. This imbalance in the intestine can lead to diarrhoea, the so-called antibiotic-associated diarrhoea. Antibiotic-associated diarrhoea is when colicky pain and abdominal cramps or more than three bowel movements per day occur, the stool is very soft to liquid and the amount of stool has increased significantly. These complaints can occur immediately or even weeks after the first antibiotic intake. Each time we take antibiotics, the diversity of bacteria strains in our intestines is reduced. However, a high diversity of intestinal bacteria is absolutely necessary so that the intestine can fulfil its many tasks (e.g. breakdown, absorption and formation of nutrients, production of immune cells, supply of energy) without restriction. Therefore: With every antibiotic therapy, support the intestine with special selected intestinal bacteria (e.g. OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD) to regulate the balance of the intestinal flora!How does OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD work?
Extensive studies show that OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD can regulate the side effects of antibiotic therapy - namely the bacterial imbalance (= dysbalance) in the intestine - and rebuild the intestinal flora. OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) for diet management in the case of a dysbalance of the intestinal flora during and after the administration of antibiotics. The 10 scientifically researched bacterial strains contained have the following properties and characteristics, to which the product owes its intended purpose:- Settle permanently in the intestine even during antibiotic therapy
- Prevent the multiplication of germs such as Clostridium difficile
- Reduce the release of toxins through Clostridium difficile
How is OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD used?
Take during the whole course of antibiotics. Stir 1 sachet of OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD (= 5 g) into approx. 1/8 l water 2 x daily, wait at least 1 minute activation time, stir again and then drink. After course of antibiotics if possible, continue to take 1 sachet 1 x daily for 14 days.. Ideally, there should be an interval of at least 1 hour between taking OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD and the antibiotic. For children up to 3 years, we recommend half of the adult dose. It is recommended to take OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD on an empty stomach if possible. If you take OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD 2 x daily, it is recommended to take it before breakfast and before dinner. If you have a fructose intolerance, you should extend the activation time to at least 30 minutes. During this time, the bacteria metabolise all the fructooligosaccharides. This means that no fructose enters the intestine.Composition
