How does Fitonasal Children's Nasal Spray work?

Fitonasal Children's Nasal Spray works thanks to TANNISAL, a molecular complex of tannins and rock salt that interacts with the nasal mucosa to produce the following:

1. Decongestant action with a dual, non-pharmacological mechanism. - Precipitation of bradykinin: the tannins contained in the product are able to bind this inflammatory mediator, reducing nasal congestion. - Balanced osmotic action: this helps to attract water from the swollen tissues without irritating and drying out the mucous membrane.
2. Protective action: The nasal spray normalises the nasal mucosa thanks to the adhesion of the active ingredients and their antioxidant properties.

Moreover, thanks to its continuous fine atomisation, the product has a deep cleansing action that removes from the nasal cavities the excessive mucus, as well as the viruses, bacteria, allergens and irritants it contains. This effect is particularly useful for babies and children who are unable to blow their noses.

How is Fitonasal Children's Nasal Spray used?

Use Fitonasal Children's Nasal Spray at least twice a day (morning and evening), and any time when needed. For a decongestant and protective effect on the mucous membrane, it is recommended to use Fitonasal Kinder Nasenspray as follows: Infants from 6 - 12 months

1. Place the child on its side, insert the nozzle into the upper nostril and spray the product.
2. Place the child on the other side and repeat the procedure in the other nostril.

Children over 12 months Insert the nozzle into the nostril and press gently on the spray head for a few seconds. Clean the nose or, if possible, have it blown and repeat the spraying process in the other nostril. Clean the spray head with a damp and clean cloth after each use and dry carefully. Fitonasal Children's Nasal Spray does not contain vasoconstrictors and does not cause any habituation effect thanks to its innovative, non-pharmacological mechanism of action. It does not dry out the mucous membranes, is not irritating and can be used frequently, even over a long period of time.
