What is NeoBianacid?
NeoBianacid is suitable for the treatment of symptoms caused by acidity, such as heartburn, pain, gastro-oesophageal reflux and gastritis. It is also suitable for treating symptoms associated with dyspepsia (indigestion), such as heartburn, bloating and flatulence.When is NeoBianacid used?
NeoBianacid can be used prophylactically in situations that may cause mucosal irritation (taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs/painkillers, during mental/physical stress, seasonal changes, unhealthy diet and lifestyle).How does NeoBianacid work?
NeoBianacid forms a film with a barrier effect on the mucous membrane, protecting it from contact with gastric juices and irritating substances. NeoBianacid contains Poliprotect®, a molecular complex from Aboca research, which has the same protective effect as physiological mucus thanks to its mucoadhesive properties. Poliprotect® acts through the synergy between the polysaccharide component (molecular weight > 20,000 Daltons) and the mineral component (limestone and nahcolite). The action of Poliprotect® is complemented by the antioxidant properties of the flavonoid component, which counteracts irritation caused by free radicals.How is NeoBianacid used?
Take one tablet by slowly melting in the mouth as needed. For gastro-oesophageal reflux, it is recommended to take one tablet after the main meals and one at night before going to bed. For heartburn and bloating associated with indigestion (dyspepsia), take one tablet after meals. In any case, the intake can be repeated several times a day if necessary, even at shorter intervals. Thanks to its mechanism of action, NeoBianacid can be taken together with proton pump inhibitors and H2 antagonists, as well as during breaks in treatment, after consultation with the doctor. The product can be taken by children from the age of 6 years in the same dosage. The product can also be taken over a longer period of time.Please Note:
Do not use if you are hypersensitive or allergic to one or more of the ingredients. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist. It is recommended to take the product at least two hours apart from medicines, especially tetracyclines. The content of glycyrrhizin derived from liquorice is below the limit that may possibly cause an increase in blood pressure. Follow directions for use carefully and seek advice from a doctor or pharmacist if necessary.
