How does OMNi-BiOTiC® TRAVEL work?

OMNi-BiOTiC® TRAVEL contains a highly-active mixture of seven specially selected bacterial strains with 5 billion highly active “helpers” (intestinal bacteria) per serving, so that you can enjoy every day of your trip.

A special feature of OMNi-BiOTiC® TRAVEL is the matrix in which the bacteria are embedded: enzymes and fibre massively stimulate the activity of the synbiotic helpers and guarantee their survival in the hostile environment of the stomach and duodenum – entirely without chemical technical agents such as capsules or coatings.

Caricol®

Caricol® is an all-natural product made from tree-ripened ripe papaya fruit. The flesh of the papaya contains a large amount of papain, an enzyme that aids digestion by breaking down the proteins in our food. Thanks to a special patented manufacturing process, the papain activity in Caricol® is four times higher than in raw papaya puree. In addition, papaya contains many antioxidants, vitamins and minerals including calcium that benefit our body.

Natural quality with fair origins

The production of Caricol® is based on a patented preparation process. The papaya fruit of the highest quality comes from Sri Lanka and is harvested when ripe by small farmers and family businesses, who receive fair prices above the usual market value, and processed directly on site in accordance with strict EU organic regulations. This ensures a better quality of life for the local people and is fully in line with the intention of Caricol® - namely to support the well-being of everyone.

Anwendung

How is OMNi-BiOTiC® TRAVEL used?

It is best if you start a few days before the journey by taking 1 sachet of OMNi-BiOTiC® TRAVEL (= 5 g) daily in the morning before breakfast. Stir the powder into a glass of water (approx. 125 mL) at room temperature, milk, tea or yoghurt, wait at least 1 minute for it to activate, stir again and then drink. Continue this procedure for the whole trip.

If you suffer from fructose intolerance, you should prolong the activation time to at least 30 minutes. During this time the bacteria metabolise the fructooligosaccharides. Therefore no fructose gets into the intestine.

Caricol®

It is advisable to take Caricol® daily for several weeks, preferably undiluted.

Recommended dose:

2-3 sticks/day, 1 stick after each main meal.

Caricol® does not need to be stored in the refrigerator. Suitable for taking to work and when travelling. There are no habituation effects.

OMNi-POWER® SOLID

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in exactly 500 ml of water. Adhere exactly to the mixing ratio. Prepare the solution immediately before use. The finished solution can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Who is OMNi-BiOTiC® TRAVEL suitable for?

Whilst abroad, the digestive system can easily become unbalanced by various external influences (such as new kinds of foods or a change in the daily rhythm). It becomes even more unpleasant if foreign microorganisms from water, ice cubes or also just from salads and unpeeled fruit get into the digestive system – and the intestines try to get rid of these invaders. Whereas the most frequent diarrhoea pathogens, namely all ETEC strains, are simply unpleasant but self-limiting, (the microorganisms excrete themselves along with the diarrhoea), an infection with salmonella, shigella or campylobacter can be more problematic.

Therefore, alongside all the other usual holiday preparations, you should not forget to  prepare your intestine for the journey – experts recommend special multi-species synbiotics.
